Our Myovision system is a neurospinal screening and evaluation system that uses surface electromyography to measure changes of spinal muscles. It was originally developed for NASA and designed to measure changes in the spinal muscles of astronauts.

What does a Myovision Scan do?

Our system helps us to identify irritated and dysfunctional spinal joints by measuring muscle activity. Irritated and dysfunctional spinal joints disturb the muscles regular nerve function, causing an abnormal amount of electrical flow to the muscles. This electrical flow is measured and displayed graphically as shown in the illustration (to the right). The system allows for increased accuracy in diagnosis, review of prognosis and improved care.

In addition, the system is used to monitor the patient’s individual progress. The scan will visually show you the progress you are making at regular intervals in your treatment plan.

About Myovision Scan

The scan is totally non-invasive and does not cause pain or irritation. This makes it totally safe for infants, children, pregnant women or seniors. It simply requires the placement of small probes against the skin, with the test taking less than a few minutes. The scan is used by many Chiropractic offices and is the latest, state of the art equipment for this type of spinal assessment.
